Visiting the Chickens and Roosters at Independence Hall

This morning was a great morning to visit the chickens and roosters at Independence Hall.

There were many more this morning than we’ve seen in a long time.

Katie wasn’t sure about them at first, but she quickly warmed up to them.

The animals weren’t shy at all.  I think someone’s been coming to feed them regularly.

Many ducks in the pond as well.

These friendly roosters came right up to us.

“What’s up, guys?”

Soon, Katie…soon.

Julie had a good eye in taking this picture.

Independence Hall is open from 10-4 daily.

Katie loved pushing her stroller and running all over the lawn.

Julie says that Katie was pointing to the statue.  I say she was pointing to GhostRider.

This baby’s on a mission!

See you next time, Mr. Rooster…
