I surprised the family with an anniversary trip to San Juan Capistrano today. We visited a petting zoo, a quaint street, and a beautiful park.
Katie took this photo of us!
Gorgeous girl.
Hello llamas!
Matthew liked the brown llama.
Katie was timid at first, too.
Feeding bunnies.
Guinea pigs! Lots and lots of guinea pigs.
Bobby’s date for the day.
Really, Julie? Am I really holding a guinea pig for our anniversary?
Matthew loved holding them.
“Matthew, this is a goat.”
Goat munching on Bobby’s shirt.
From the goat’s perspective.
A corn kernel “sand” box!
We’d like to ride the train down next time.
Lunch time
The guinea pigs are resting.
Horse ride time!
Matthew said, “yee haw horsie!” over and over. So cute.
Train time.
Katie panned for gold and brought home some nice rocks.
Back to the corn kernels.
This squirrel was loading up on the corn kernels that the kids had thrown out. He was holding them in his cheeks and taking them back to his home again and again.
Park time!
Cheeeeese.
Brought the tripod. I knew it would be a perfect spot for a family photo.
Swing time!
Hiya, Daddy, hiya!
Great day! So thankful.
