This year we visited the pumpkin patch at Tanaka Farms in Irvine. It was a great change from Cal Poly Pomona, our usual stomping grounds this time of year. Tanaka Farms wasn’t nearly as hot or crowded, and Katie had lots of room to run around.
“Mama! I’ve never seen so many pumpkins! Can I take them home?”
“I know they want me to look at the camera, but these pumpkins are much more interesting!”
The farm had a petting zoo and a very nice area full of miniature pumpkins and other crops. It was shaded and comfortable.
“Hey, I thought this was a Pixie Stick! Wait…what’s a Pixie Stick??”
