An Evening at Disneyland

We spent a nice evening at Disneyland tonight.  It was nice to be back after a few months away.  Katie improved so much since our last visit, and wasn’t afraid of the rides at all.  I loved watching her have so much fun, and also enjoyed trying out the low-light settings on our new camera.

Katie danced, jumped around and took it all in like a pro.


Tonight was also Katie’s first ride on Pirates!  As this is one of my favorite attractions for a number of reasons, sharing Katie’s first ride was priceless.  She held our hands down the drops and sat spellbound through all of the show scenes.  She’s never seen anything like the ship battle before, and I know the animals were real to her.  It was a very touching and memorable experience.


Naturally she’s a big fan of Small World…



Pictures of the fireworks turned out very well, even without a tripod.            
Katie loved her night ride on Dumbo.
And a ride on the Carousel.
We spend a little time in Downtown Disney before leaving for the night.  By the time we walked to the parking structure, Katie had found a comfortable spot in her stroller and was fast asleep.
